Missoula Nightlife, Montana

Missoula is a fun place to experience a highly unique kind of nightlife, with its stunning ambience reminiscent to that of the old Western crowd and similar to the traditional feel of Butte nightlife. With Missoula’s completely mountainous area and scenic beauties, it promises to be an oasis for tourists, even during the night.

Overall, Missoula nightlife offers a stunning atmosphere for anyone who loves bars, dancing, and the wide outdoors. In fact, it is such an incredible experience, that tourists may want to stay longer.

Missoula Nightlife – City Pubs

A lot of city pubs exist in Missoula, where you can find practically any kind of caffeine-induced or alcoholic drink.

If you are a big fan of Ireland, go to the Irish pub Sean Kelly’s, which offers a wide variety of Irish food, as well – from pot roast to Irish stew to bangers and mash, which you can wash down with your juice. During the weekend, this pub offers great jazz music and it is the ideal place to play a game of pool, as well.

For those who would rather get a public taste of brewed beer from Montana, the Iron Horse Brew Pub or Kettlehouse Brewing Company are ideal locations to do so. Iron Horse is decked out with a wide array of television sets to watch sports games, like most pubs that you can find in Great Falls; while Kettlehouse comes with a taproom, which proves to be a funky hangout decked out with old yet comfortable couches.

Probably the best dive to enjoy Missoula nightlife in the form of a bar, however, would be Charlie B’s. This is the place where everybody goes, despite there is no sign outside that even remotely suggests where it lies. Simply follow the voices of laughter and find this dive full of professionals, university students, and blue-collar types – a great place to meet new and interesting people.

Missoula Nightlife – City Nightclubs

Missoula nightlife also comes with nightclubs where people flock to, in order to let go of all their inhibitions and simply have a fun night out. Here, people from various walks of life can be found. It must be remembered, however, that Missoula nightclubs tend to come with dress codes that are strictly enforced, so dressing up to impress is a must.

Regardless of your preference in music, Missoula nightlife is the ideal scene for you, as there is a slew of DJs and music for you to choose from in the genre of rap, hip hop, techno, house, pop, reggae, and even line dancing.

The best of the best would definitely have to be the Top Hat Lounge & Casino Incorporated. With a taste of the local flavor with a pinch of total diversity, the Top Hat washes over people with its unique being. The interior is versatile and made mostly of dark wood, making it look good for 1800’s saloons, but also for 1960’s roadhouses and this years dance clubs. The crowd changes daily at the Top Hat, making people feel as if strangers were long-lost friends. The staff is friendly and likeable, while the live music of the night is usually amazing and the dance floor happens to be just the perfect size. Even drinks are highly affordable with a wide variety of cocktails, beer, martinis and wine.
