Enjoying the Vibrant Lexington-Kentucky Nightlife

Vibrant and varied night entertainment is what you can find in Kentucky. This is more so in Lexington where you can easily enjoy karaoke, speakeasies, bull riding, live bands, line dancing, neon lights, sport nights, and even some laid-back fun in just one great city. You can expect to be titillated by a lot of music genres here as well.

The Variety and the Verve of Lexington’s Nightlife

The nightlife scene of Lexington starts pulsing on Thursdays. At the Bar Complex, amateur drag nights happen on this day, while Fridays and Saturdays are slotted for professional performances. An alternative club that was once dedicated to speakeasies during the 1940s, the club now has a lounge, a showroom, and a dance floor upstairs that caters to all kinds of people.

If you want to go for the Wranglers style of entertainment, then you could head on to Cadillac Ranch. Fun here can be found in their drinks specials, line dancing, mechanical bull riding, two-stepping, pool tournaments, and live bands. The pace here is always frenzied and enjoyable with their house band, the Saddletramp, performing from Wednesdays to Saturdays and with the bull riding in bikini top happening on Thursdays.

Offering a wide selection of nighttime choices, the Main Street Live is the place to be when you want to experience some great entertainment. Aside from the drinking and the live bands, there is a sand volleyball court and a concert hall for everyone.

Dining, Drinking, and Tons of Fun

Of course, dining is also a great part of the nighttime scene in Lexington. However, if you want to head on to an eatery where there is not only dining but also drinking and tons of fun, then there is loads of this in the city as well. You can head on to Lynagh’s Irish Pub where not only great-tasting brews can be enjoyed, but also some of the most loved burgers in the region. The pub is known for their large sandwiches like the avocado and turkey and the huge O’Rounds, which are pounded thin burgers. A visual treat can also be enjoyed here through the unique memorabilia available like the boats, bikes, and other objects suspended in the air.

For an abundance of Kentucky bourbons and a taste of British things, then the Horse and Barrel is the place to be. Here, beers and cocktails are mixed with relaxation and good food. During weekends, live bands also jazz up the atmosphere a notch. Everywhere you go in Lexington, you will surely get what you want when it comes to entertainment, food, and drinks.
