Wichita, the County Seat
Wichita is a very densely populated city of the United States and is situated on Arkansas River in the South Central region of Kansas. It is the County Seat of the Sedgwick County and comes to be known as among the 51 largest cities of the United States. Over the time, Wichita has developed in to a great entertainment and cultural center. The incredible downtown district that offers amazing restaurants, nightclubs, parks, museums and shopping centers attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world.

The Allen Lambe House
It was basically designed for a prominent Statesman and journalist Henry J Allen and Elsie J Nuzman Allen, his wife. It has modern architecture and is fundamentally a country or manor house.
Botanica, the Wichita gardens
The Botanica is spread over 9.5 acres of land and features themed gardens. The most cherished ones include the woodland glades, the aquatic collection, teaching garden, rose garden, scenery garden and the butterfly garden.
The Old Cowtown Museum
It is a place where history can be studied and experienced at its best. There are dramatic clashes of the Victorian ideals along with the economic realities. The wagon rides, the blacksmith anvil sounds, the humble home and the very rugged look of the place are widely cherished by the visitors.
The Ulrich Museum of Art
It is situated over the Wichita State University Campus and features over 60,000 artworks along with large glass and marble mosaic. In fact, 65 of the modern sculptures are also displayed there. Great paintings, photo collections, art collections, exhibits, statues, fountains and standalone sculptures can be experienced here with ultimate delight.
Museum of World Treasures
It is one of the most exciting places a visitor can see. It has ten of the real dinosaurs and two embalmed Egyptian mummies along with great many other such things that are thrilling and exciting to the visitors. It also features as Hall of American Presidents, European Hall of Royalty, Berlin Wall Exhibit, and Revolutionary to Vietnam, War Exhibits and a Children’s Activity Center.
