Billy Joe's Pitcher Show is the first of its kind Karaoke and pay-per-view pro wrestling found in one place. The Karaoke runs seven nights in the week and the visitors have a blast performing live on stage as if though they are seasoned singers. For those who are crazy about WWE, Billy Joe offers them on big movie screen with beer and wine. Every Friday night is Horror Friday which is celebrated during the summer. The ambience is very ritzy and hip which makes the place very popular. The food served here are mainly nibbles, Pub grub and munchies.

Blazing Saddle set up in the year 1983 is the longest running Bar in Des Moines. It is Located in the heart of downtown Des Moines, The blazing saddle has affable atmosphere during the day and roars up  at the night when the dance bar opens. The  blazing saddle has in house DJ’s who tune in the music of the audience’s interest with a twisted innovation, making the visitors go head over heels.There are also live piano events  on Wednesday night. They also offer the special drag show alongside with other weekly and monthly proceedings. They host themed dance events like salsa nights and Latin nights. For those dance lovers it is the best place to be on a late Saturday night.

Midway Casino located at the pacific highway is one of the best casinos in Des Moines. The casino has state of art slots machines and table games such as Texas shootout, poker, Lucky ladies and black jack.  The casino provides live entertainment with DJ and Karaoke.

Blues on Grand at the Grand avenue Des Moines is the best local music club. It is a hot spot for many of the class and young crowd.

Splash sea food bar  and grill situated at Homestead building downtown des Moines is the best sea food resultant. The atmosphere and feel of the restaurant is very striking with abstract art and huge aquariums will beautiful coral and ocean fishes surrounding the tables.  They menu include exceptional sea food appetizers and salads.  It also has a Splash raw oyster bar and the large selection of caviar. To complement the sea food it has an extensive wine list with high quality wine from all around the world
