Moline Nightlife, Illinois
With some of the best eateries, bars, clubs and other entertainment venues in the Quad Cities, Moline nightlife means jam-packed engagement and entertainment – if you are a teetotaler, go enjoy your food or just catch a live show; walk straight into a casino if you like gambling or just get to know the local people. This is quite astonishing considering that Moline does not have the population-strength of Rockford, Peoria or even Des Plaines.
Here, instead of restricting ourselves to only Moline nightlife venues, we discuss the best and the most interesting venues in the neighboring cities so you won’t complain of a single boring moment for your forthcoming Moline-trip.
Moline Nightlife – Options for a Wild Night Out
Moline nightlife does mean a lot of gorging, gulping and grooving and this is justified by the presence of the many drinking-holes, eateries and clubs within the Moline boundaries. Bucko, Caseys Tavern, Hafners Tavern & Liquor Store, Mcmanus Pub, Moody Blues Lounge, Speakeasy are just a few names to reach out to if you are seeking to quench your thirst with good quality booze. You will have bar & grill options in Cheers Bar & Grill, La Flama, River House Bar & Grill, Wide Open Bar & Grill, etc. East End Club, Fargo Dance and Sports, Loveless Take Time, Wunder Y are some of Moline’s renowned clubs.
If you are ready to venture outside Moline, a lot of entertainment will await you in the form of cool bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The Rock Island is particularly interesting. The Arts and Entertainment District is full of bars and dance clubs besides its performing-arts venues. Rock Island also has a casino, Jumer’s Casino (in the Rock Island). Bettendorf and Davenport promise rewarding experiences in their classy cafés, restaurants, bars and discos.
Moline Nightlife – Refined Entertainment Options
The ‘i-wireless Center’, better known as ‘the mark of the Quad Cities’, is in a way the hub of Moline nightlife; with a capacity to seat around 6000 people, the ‘i-wireless Center’ serves as a venue where different cultural programs, concerts, etc. are organized during night-time. (Of course, different sporting events are hosted at the ‘i-wireless Center’ during day-time).
Prospect Park Auditorium is home to Quad City Music Guild and the performances (mostly Live Broadway Musicals) staged by the guild present one important aspect of Moline nightlife as do the Playcrafters Barn Theater and the Great Escape Theater (that has 14 screens).
If you still want more, just look around and you will have excellent options in the Penguins Comedy Club (Bettendorf), the Quad City Symphony (Davenport), or Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse (Rock Island) where you are served a dinner before the show.
