The city of Tulare is situated in Tulare County which is part of California, United States of America. The name of the city was inspired from Tulare Lake which used to deliver fresh water for the locals of the city some decades back. As of now the lake is dried up but the name still continues.

As per the census of year 2000 the population for the city of Tulare was around 44000 inhabitants which were living in around 14000 households. Around 56 percent of this population was White, around 5 percent were of African American origin, over 2 percent as Asian, and rest from other different races that might have migrated to this city during historical years. Over 66 percent of the total population for any race was Hispanic. The city of Tulare is famous for the teen pregnancy rate which is said to be at number second place when compared to all other cities of this nation. The per capita income for the city of Tulare was around US $14000 and still around 21 percent of the total population was below the poverty line.

As per the research done by the Census Bureau for United States of America, the city of Tulare stretches over an area of around 44 kilometer square of which around 0.5 percent is water and rest is plain land.

The city of Tulare is also famous for the World Ag Expo which is actually the largest expo that ever takes place when it comes to agriculture. You will find hotels all booked many months before the expo has to start and you will be surprised to know that the population for the city of Tulare doubles during the time when the Expo is actually held in this city.
