Santa Ana lies in Orange County area of Southern California. Santa Ana is considered as County Seat of Orange County. It lies about ten miles away from the Californian coast. In fact, it is known to be the 2nd largest metropolitan state of the United States. The Bowers Museum
It is a great museum that has existed for about 70 years now. It is among the 750 museums that are accredited by American Association of Museums. In fact it is the sole museum that partners with the British museum. It displays amazing collections from the Central American natives’ artifacts along with the paintings done by locals. It also features a temporary spot for holding exhibitions, the courtyard, a restaurant and a section for children’s museum.
The Discovery Science Center
It is a very famous science center of Santa Ana with over 100 hands- on science exhibits. These science exhibits are specially designed to incite natural curiosity in children. It is a very remarkable visual landmark as well owing to its 10 story solar-array cube which stands over the Interstate.
The Floral Park
The Floral Park is situated on Santa Ana’s northern tip. The neighborhood is actually a community of over 600 vintage homes that were built during 1920- 1950. This area is basically a representative of the bygone era with great tree- shaded streets, amazing flowers and lawns, uniquely styled homes and a lot more.
The Santa Ana Zoo
The Santa Ana Zoo is located at the Prentice Park and is spread over 20 acres. It focuses on the plants and the animals of South and Central America. It has a very vast primate collection that harbors more than a dozen of the species from all over the world. The main objective of the zoo lies in education, recreation and conservation.
Old Orange County Courthouse
It was opened in 1901 and lies in the Historic Downtown District of Santa Ana on Broadway Streets and Civic Center. It is a very remarkable landmark of the city. These days, it is used as a museum and as a place for screening television shows and movies.
