Kasegaluk Lagoon happens to be a coastal lagoon which is located on the western side of North Slop in Alaska. Many barrier islands separate this lagoon from the Chukchi Sea. At one time Point Lay was also a barrier island for this Kasegaluk Lagoon but it was during the 1970s that it was moved to the mouth of River Kokolik.
