In Izmir, Turkey, you will find plenty to see and do any night of the week. With the cities old world charm and modern day love for good times, Izmir is a fun night time destination. You can take a walk by the sea or enjoy one of the many night clubs, bars, or cafes.

You can stroll along Alsancak and take in the many Greek houses that have been converted into bars and hang outs. This area offers the old world feel, but features modern music and drinks. There are many pubs cafes and some great little shops. The shops can be a bit pricey, but window shopping is always fun. There also a few delicious restaurants to try, but they too feature a higher price. 

You can also take in the sites from the lift In Izmir. This ancient elevator was built to save locals form walking the fifty meters up the hill to get to the next road. Today it is experienced by many tourists and has a great little pub up above. You can sip a beer on the terrace and take in the stunning view of Izmir.

When you are looking for the perfect moon light walking destination, check out the Kordon. This street for foot travelers and cyclist offers the perfect attraction for an evening stroll. It has been mentioned by local businesses that the Kordon should be commercialized and lined with fun establishments; however, it is one of the few quiet places left in the city. There are a few cafes along the way for that evening cup of Joe. There is also a second Kordon in the city and it is lined with many small restaurants, clubs, and bars.
