The best time to visit this part of Thailand is in November. During this month, the province has numerous celebrations that are always flocked by locals as well as tourists from other countries. The Bua Tong Blossom Festival, Loi Krathong Festival and Chong Phara Procession happen between the last week of October until November. All of these activities involve festive dancing, display of fruits and remarkable display of flowers brought in by locals from different parts of the province.
Mae Hong Son offers such a unique experience for tourists that a week’s visit might not even be enough.
