Sightseeing in Jidda includes a large amount of historical religious sites.  One of the most important towns in Jidda is Balad, a very important city, but also a shopper’s heaven.  You may want to relax after you do your shopping and exploring the old historical sites.  Relax and enjoy the rest of the evening at the King Fahad Water Spring.  During the evening, the fountain is lit with floodlights and it can also be seen from air.  This is a highly recommended place for tourists. Another way you could sit back and relax is to visit the Red Sea.  

Among festivals and events at Jeddah, the most significant one is the summer festival, which is held in the months of June and July.  This annual festival has loads of cultural and entertainment activities to select from.  The activities range from camel races to musical concerts, to colorful fireworks displays and great bargains in the numerous shops and malls.
