Ulyanovsk is a beautiful city located in the middle of European Russia on the banks of the great River Volga. Brief history

This beautiful city of Ulyanovsk was founded in 1648 as a bastion in order to protect the southern border in Russia; at that time, it was known as Simbrisk and later wan renamed as Ulyanovsk in honor of Lenin.
