San Juan Nightlife, Puerto Rico

Like most cities, the San Juan night scene also comes alive during the weekends. Clubs, bars, discos and a lot more are to be found here. Whatever your action is, there is surely something for you in San Juan. 

The majority of those who go out partying are tourists together with some locals of course. Jiving to the music and getting rowdy on the dance floor—these are the usual activities of those who opt to party and play. Usually, the guests in the San Juan bars dress casually, but some require the outfit to be a bit more elegant. 

There is a wide range of music bars and disco clubs in the city. The most popular of which is Babylon where the crowd dresses to kill. Yes, most of the people who get into this disco club are usually well-dressed and enjoy hardcore partying. Club Bacchus is one club with a unique theme: Mythology. Therefore, if you are an Adonis looking for your Aphrodite or vice versa then this is the perfect spot for you. Music though is not a myth in this club. Club Bacchus plays Latin pop to ‘70s music. And oh! You don’t actually need to wear Greek-mythology-like costumes outfits, you should be casual-elegant.

 Another hotspot that you might want to drop into is Club Lazer. It is one of the greatest dance clubs in San Juan and it has three types of action each with a corresponding atmosphere. On the first floor, there is a friendly pub, the main dancing level, and the terrace on the top floor where the chilling is the main game. Last but definitely not the least there’s Stargate. This former Egipto club in Santruce has entered into a totally different dimension and has become futuristic-themed. This popular nightspot includes Latin rhythms and songs from the ‘70s and the ‘80s. Security-wise, there is absolutely no need to worry since there are police everywhere ready for any unexpected events to happen.

Once you step into the street, there is absolutely no need to look for a specific place. Just walk around and follow the thumping Latin music you’ll have more fun and ye,s you will also be able be a happy clubber this way. Barhopping has always been a fun activity. Music has always been a part of Latin American history so expect to find a lot of live music, good music that is.

So, dress to impress dance like there is no tomorrow and of course bottoms up San Juan!
