Gujranwala, Pakistan - Overview

Gujranwala is a fifth largest city in Pakistan. The city is bordered with many small towns like Ghakhar Mandi, Kamonke and Gujrat etc. Punjabi is the common language of most of the people.  However Urdu and English language is also spoken in the school, colleges and offices.

Gujjars are settled here in majority that’s why the city is called Gujranwala. Gujranwala has been inhabited from a long time. Originally the name of the city was Khanpur then it renamed to Gujranwala.
