Places to see in Petaling JayaKota Darul Ehsan Arch
This is a massive marble arch and a gateway in to the city. It was erected for marking the commemoration of Kuala Lumpur cession to Federal Government for forming the Federal Territory. The construction was commenced in the year 1974 opening the arch officially in the year 1981. This arch looks most beautiful at night.
Wat Chetawan Temple
It is among the most prominent of the Thai Buddhist temples of Klang Valley. The temple has stood here for about 40 years now and was started as a very small temple in the year 1957 at Jalan Raja Bot. this temple that stands today was actually built in early years of 1960s. It has a towering main prayer-hall and is surrounded by the shrines.
Hilton PJ
This is a very legendary hotel and is a great land mark of the place since it was inaugurated in the year 1984. The coffee house of this hotel is what is exclusively famous among tourists for its great services and delicacies.
MBPJ Tower
They are the headquarters of PJ city and a very prominent of the landmarks of the place. It is a 27 storey building and was officiated by late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, the Sultan of Selangor on 16th March, 1987. This building comes to be called unique as it stands at the centre of a pit- like “sunken plaza”. It is well surrounded by great shops and commercial areas.
Kelana Jaya Lake Park
It is a great Park with seven very beautiful lakes and good jogging park all around it. It has huge swimming pools along with badminton and tennis courts.
Apart from these incredible places, the Gasing hill that is a forest reserve, Taman Jaya, amazing recreational club and the LDP Cable Stayed Bridge are also some of the famous sights in Petaling Jaya.
