For those who want to experience city-living that fuses nature and modernity, then the city of Alma-ata or the Verny is one city that should be checked out. The city offers a beautiful setting in between the mountains and the plains. The visitors can also check out the Obelisk of Independence on the square. The city can also offer the visitors and the tourists many fine museums such as the Museum of Kazakh National Instruments, Central State Museum and of course, the State Art Museum. The southern capital as the city is known in the country is also known as the cultural capital of the nation. So visitors can expect that most of the nightlife activities in the city are centered on the culture of country.

There are around 270 organizations in the area; and all these offer great entertainment during the night. Some of the places where entertainment can be experienced include the many theaters, museums and concert halls. Expect entertainment as well from cinemas, circus and the central stadium.
