Osaka Nightlife, Japan

Osaka, Japan has a vibrant nightlife, with clubs, bar, and theaters located all over the city.  Here are few of the most recommended clubs for tourists and locals to enjoy the nightlife.

Playpen is located the Shinsaibashi bar area and is one of the most popular bars in Osaka.  The bar offers a variety of music from DJ’s, with a dance floor that come become crowded on the weekends. 

American Beauty is a casual bar and great for a beer before heading out somewhere to dance.  The bar offers a good variety of music and make up a wicked Long Island Ice Tea.

Cinquecentos, or more commonly known as Cinqs, are a new, very popular bar in the Shinsaibashi area.  This bar is open until 5 a.m. every day, with every drink being 500 yen.  The Cinq also offers a drinking contest to all, with a t-shirt for prize.  If you are able to drink 11 drinks of the bartender choice, the t-shirt is yours.

For those wanting something besides the club scene, consider a visit to Osaka’s Ferris wheel.  Located near the Hearton Hotel, this well-lit attraction offers wonderful views of the city.  It’s over 200 feet tall, so you’ll be able to taken in a lot of the scenery.

Restaurants are plentiful as well in Osaka, and it’s easy to find something for everyone’s taste.  Try Dotonbori, a great restaurant where you are the cook!  A pot of boiling water is placed on the table and you cook your meats and veggies, before topping it with some wonderful sauces.  At anytime of the day or night, you find many street vendors as well to help ease your hunger pains.

Osaka, Japan is an interesting city with a flair for nightlife.

  One of the best tasting Ramen ever! Apparently they have locations in Tokyo and throughout Japan. So if you're in Japan go check it out! It's not like Instant noodles ok, I was a skeptic once saying how good can Ramen be seriously. Well I can't explain it to you just like no one who had tasted it...
