Kobe is also home to the very first golf course in all of Japan as well. However, there are many firsts in the city, including Japan's first mosque.
Kobe is also home to many sports and entertainment venues. Kobe offers a football, baseball, and rugby team. The rugby team has actually been in existence since 1928. There are two stadiums to enjoy the various events as well. When it comes to culture, many theaters and museums can be found as well.
Education is a major factor in Kobe as well. There are 18 universities or colleges hosting over 71,000 students.
