Vadodora is a city of India which does not boast of nightlife like the ones found in the metropolitan cites of Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi. Instead, Vadodara has its own quaint but active nightlife that will help you spend your nights here.

This cosmopolitan city of Vadodara has lavish multiplexes, posh malls, cinema theaters, bistros, coffee joints, restaurants, fast food stores and some discotheques and nightclubs for your nighttime entertainment.

Vadodara has both modern multiplex theatres and a few old cinema halls that have been renovated and refurnished to give it a grand look. However, as Gujarat is the birthplace of the great Mahatma Gandhi, a simpleton and the father of India, the state is rather conservative and has some strict laws.

No drinking in Vadodara

The discotheque you have to visit while in Vadodara is the Generation 2000, where you can dance on its great dance floor till the closing time of all the joints of Gujarat, which is 11.30 pm.

The Navarathri celebrations of Vadodara

Vadodara is proud of its newest Multiplex, the PVR Deep which has a THX sound system, and is the first multiplex offering ticket booking by m-ticketing. This means that you can book your ticket through a simple sms.

Its movie hall comes with luxurious, cushioned seats arranged in stadium style while you find the largest food court of Vadodara here to satisfy anyone’s taste buds.

Besides all these structures of Vadodara, there are also numerous clubs and associations you can visit, around the city. However, to really experience the exuberating nightlife of Vadodara, you have to visit the city during its Navarathri celebrations that comes in the month of October-November.

This is when this 9 night long festival takes place with people dancing their hearts away to traditional and filmy songs. This is a festival of colors, dance, entertainment, food and music that will give anyone a wonderful time when in Vadodara.
