While visiting Jamshedpur, the best thing you can do is visit the sites of historical and cultural importance of the city. These touristic destinations invite you to take a walk around the TISCO, stroll through Jubilee Park and visit the sites nearby the Meet River. It also has some attractive sites to visit that are easily accessible from this city. Musabani, Ghatshila, Jaduquora, etc., are some of the sites nearby Jamshedpur that are really worth visiting.
Jubilee Park is a main park and plaza that you have to see located in the centre of the city. This lusciously park is spread over acres of land and is adorned with brightly illuminated fountains at night. The main attraction is the breathtaking Moghul Garden. Any passionate rose lover will be captivated by its rose garden, which boasts over 1000 different roses. You can bring your kids here as they will have a ton of fun at the Jubilee Amusement Park and Children’s Park that has a number of swings, a skating rink, a seesaw, a windmill and much more. The newest addition to the park is the “Upvan”. Foliage Park, Jayanti Sarovar, Smriti Udyan and Tata Steel Zoological Park are some of the other famous parts of the park.
Tata Steel Zoological Park is also a main park to visit with its variety of flora and fauna. Located next to the Jubilee Park, it is a luxury.
Jayanti Sarowar which was formerly referred to as Jubilee Lake, is spread over an area of 40 acres. This huge lake was created for boating and fishing. There is an island in the middle of the lake, which adds tremendous beauty to the lake. The lake is located at the base of the majestic Dalma Hills. Tata Steel constructed this lake as a water reservoir for its plant and for the city.
