Berlin Nightlife, Germany
Berlin is a very diverse city that ceaselessly reinvents itself coping with the demands of modern times. It is suffice to say that the city's nightlife is absolutely legendary! From underground parties chick discotheques to endless arrays of various restaurants and cafes, Berlin should not only be Germany's capital city but the world's capital for party animals, food lovers and art aficionados.
This city has an endless roster of social, culinary and art establishments for various people of various age and social preferences that would simply blow your mind!
If you have a penchant for delectable food and drinks you should never miss Hackesche Hofe. This place has a wide range of renowned restaurants bars and clubs. On the other hand, the Pariser Straße area is quite the magnet for the younger crowd with its taverns bars, American diners, Mexican restaurants and discos.
Another of the most visited areas at night includes the Prenzlauer Berg where you can have your fill of authentic Russian and Jewish food. This place is bustling with not only few, but several restaurants. Additionally, within the narrow lanes of the Nikolaiviertel beside the Spree River the traditional Berlin is brought to life. Compared to the diverse range of food and ambiance of the other areas this place has an old fashioned atmosphere where typical homemade dishes are served.
However if you are opting for a very wild night in this part of the globe there are also several areas in the city where you could let loose all your inhibitions. The Mitte district has been and still is one of the hippest places for the young and the restless with clubs such as Kaffee Burger and Weekend. But more intense Mitte Kreuzberg is slowly making its own reputation as a happening district with crowds of artists and immigrants, but these parts of Berlin are not all wild parties and booze, these places also boast of a variety of cultural venues such as theaters cinemas and art galleries.
Another incredible fact is that this city, in this seemingly liberal age, caters to people of any gender and to people with various gender preferences for that matter. In fact, Nolledorfplatz or otherwise known as the “Pink Village” and the Motzstrass are only a few of the havens for people with alternative lifestyles. These places are home to all sorts of lesbian and gay cultural events, museums and information centers. Moreover, the Pink Village holds a Lesbian and Gay men's Fair locally known as the Lesbisch-Schwules Stedfast every third and fourth week of June.
You see not only is Berlin climbing the pinnacle of economic success, but the metropolis has also become a liberal city where one experience boundless pleasures. Not only is this city Europe's major center in politics, culture, media and science, it has in fact established a reputation as being the center of youth, the youth and popular culture in Europe as well.
