Espoo, Finland - Nightlife

Espoo is a place that is teeming with nightlife activities that you can pursue, although part of the reason why it has such a great nightlife is the fact that Helsinki is just a short train or bus ride away. The classic nightlife activities such as nightclubs are located in Helsinki, but there are a number of people that commute back and forth between Helsinki and Espoo all the time.

A good example of a nightclub in Helsinki that you can easily access from Espoo is the Fever Nightclub. This is a club that is very popular amongst people in their twenties and for that reason, it is always populated with young attractive people night after night. There are many places inside the club for you to hang out and since it is open every day of the week, it is very flexible with the other parts of your itinerary. Overall, however, the popularity of this nightclub is definitely something worth noting.

One of the wonderful things about Espoo is the fact that if you are less interested in dancing in a nightclub and more interested in just having a drink with friends before bed, there are many places within walking distance of your accommodation that you can go to in order to get this done. The only real problem with it is that alcohol is expensive in Finland and therefore most of the places in Espoo will sell drinks that you might consider to be expensive depending on where you hail from. However, the drinks are still good and the interior decorations of most of these bars are fantastic.

If you are going to Espoo however, the best way to spend your night would be by watching sports. Helsinki is a city nearby that has many diversified nightlife activities, but Espoo is the only one with sports mind. People that live in Espoo most of the year are people that love spending their nights cheering for their favorite team and if you want to experience Espoo in the way the locals do, this is absolutely something you have to try at least in one of the nights that you are there. With a handful of major sports teams to choose from, getting tickets is not that difficult either so there is really no excuse if you love watching sports.
