Guayaquil Nightlife, Ecuador

The nightlife in Guayaquil, Ecuador consists of mostly bars and night clubs. There are a few wonderful restaurants with bars that stay open late as well, but the night life of the city mostly revolves dancing and drinking. With a large population, Guayaquil offers clubs that can accommodate up to 500 people. Each club has its own theme or motto, but each offers fun into the wee hours of the morning. Most clubs stay open until at least four or five in the morning.

The Fizz, which is considered one of the hottest clubs in town, offers two options to join in the fun. You can pay 12-15 dollars at the door depending on whether you are male or female, and once you are inside you enjoy an open bar. The other option would be free admittance and you simply pay three dollars per drink. Inside the club, there are four main rooms each offering a different style of music. The main room has a huge dance floor and offers a nonstop mix of techno and hip hop. The place is usually full of local singles and many tourists. The doors open at 10 pm and they close down around 4 am. The dress is casual; you can be yourself and have some fun.

If you prefer a night of club hopping or bar crawling, the area called Zona Rosa offers a great selection to choose from. The many bars offer a variety of music and entertainment options. There are also a few food establishments in between as well. Most bars offer a flat cover charge to get in while some have cheap rates for individual drinks. With so many bars and clubs available, you can party from sunset to sunrise.

Guayaquil is a really fun destination if you like to drink, dance, and party the night away.
