Sometimes called the “Paris of West Africa”, Abidjan is a beautiful place to explore and see. It had its peak of development and supremacy as a city during the rule of Felix Houphigny-Bouet. Because Abidjan is mainly a fishing village, there are so many beaches to go to and enjoy. You can also chat with locals while staying on the beach to learn a little bit about their culture and lifestyle.

Today with the struggles this city experiences, many tourists spots are now suffering from heaps of litters being dumped everywhere. Also because of demonstrations and people’s unrest owing to the unstable political status of the city, Abidjan, as said, had lost its glory endowed by the Godfather of Ivory Coast.
