Bogotá can truly be called the El Dorado of South America. It’s a city that cannot be described; it is an experience that encompasses all shades of life. Dance the salsa

Columbians were born to dance and you can experience it for yourself in the various salsa clubs that dot the city. If you are looking for a total salsa experience, then head to the Salsa Camara where you can hone your skills in this sensuous dance form. However, if you do not know the steps, the local boys will willingly lend a helping hand to teach you a few steps. You can also head to discotheques like the Plaza Méjico for some Mexican experience with live music playing on till 3AM.

Tempt your fate

There are many Casinos in Bogotá and whether you are a hard core gambler or just playing for fun, these places with their slot machines and blackjacks will lure you to tempt fate. Many of them are located at the Carerra and Zona Rosa and though they are not Vegas style opulent casinos, they do offer an alternative way to spend the night in Bogota.

Eat till you drop

If you are a big foodie then Zona G is the place for you where you will have a variety of menus and restaurants to choose from. From romantic candle lit dinners to elegant gourmet diners, the choice here is endless and will please your palate. El Salon at Calle offers a fun filled dining atmosphere where the waiters sing, dance and perform for you. Many of them grab a guitar and move from table to table singing popular songs.

Besides these there are Gay clubs and topless dancing bars as well. The city also hosts concerts regularly where well known bands perform throughout the night playing a variety of music from Jazz to R & B. Bogota’s claim to fame certainly lies in its nightlife that captivates and mesmerizes everyone who visits this beautiful city.
