The city of Wuxi is situated in the Province of Jiangsu and is split into two different halves by Taihu Lake. It is located between the cities of Nanjing (around 180 kilometers from Wuxi) and Suzhou (around 130 kilometers from the city of Wuxi) and is considered to be one of the many industrial cities for People’s Republic of China. The city of Wuxi is also gifted by the presence of River Yangtse. The two huge water bodies have been a major natural boon for the city of Wuxi. These two water bodies are the reason why the city of Wuxi is full of many canals that cross each other within the city land.

The city of Wuxi has around 4.3 million inhabitants. It spreads over an area of around 4650 kilometer square and has been divided into nine county level divisions so as to make the administration of the city an easier job. Out of these 9 divisions 7 are districts and rest two are cities. This explains that the city of Wuxi is a prefecture level city for People’s Republic of China.

The city of Wuxi experiences various climatic seasons and the atmosphere is mostly moist. The annual average temperature for the city of Wuxi is around 15 degree Celsius with an annual rainfall of around thousand mm. The surrounding areas of the city look beautiful due to the presence of various hills, lakes, and rivers. The soil of Wuxi is rich and hence very famous for the growth of rice.

The natural gifts of Wuxi City have helped it in many ways. All these have helped the economy of Wuxi a lot. Same is the reason why the city of Wuxi is one of the 15 economic hubs in People’s Republic of China.

The government of Wuxi has worked hard on the transportation facilities of Wuxi City and hence as of now around nine highways passes through the city. These highways connect the city of Wuxi with neighboring cities like Nanjing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou. Even the Nanjing Shanghai railway line passes through the city of Wuxi. Locals of the city use the Pudong International Airport which is around 3 hours by road from the city of Wuxi.
