Tsingtao Nightlife, China

Tsingtao, China is now known as Qingdao. This is an important industrial city for China and does have several options available for nightlife fun.

The Corner Jazz Bar is located on Minjiang Road. The manager is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and this is an expatriate favorite. The bar has two foosball tables and will hold several tournaments during the week. There is also a dart and a big screen television. Movie night is held once a week, and live music is often offered as well. There is usually a food special each night, as well as regular bar foods. Good food and really great service are available here.

The next area for nightlife is not a bar or a club. Next to the Qingdao beer factory is a little street. People stop in and drink a lot of beer here. It’s cheap and the people mingle nicely together.

For a great dance club, you might want to head over to Feelings. This dance club is usually filled to capacity and has a large dance floor and great drinks. The music is techno and you’ll never want for anyone to dance with.

If you’re looking for some great food before heading out on the town, you might consider Lisa’s Pizzeria. The food is really decent and the interior is comfortable. The pizza was definitely the high point of the meal.

For a twist on regular barbeque, try the Mei Da Er. This restaurant is famous for its barbecued shrimp and roast squid. The service is good and food is outstanding.

During the week, La Bang is a great intimate restaurant with terrific food and a nice quaint atmosphere. On the weekend, the place is packed as it turns into a popular dance club. Pizza is really a wonderful option here, served with French cheese on top.
