Climate

Attractions
Ningbo is considered as the seat of Hemudu civilization. As one of the first sites discovered in China, it houses several relics from the past which includes tools made from clay, jade and other precious metals. One of the most sought after traces of history is the Asoka Temple.
Other temples in the area gaining recognition worldwide are the Baoguo and the Tiantong temples. The first one was constructed during the Northern Song Dynasty with wood comprising most of the structure. The second one, on the other hand, is a tourist ground which is the home of several other attractions in the city. It is the largest temple in the city standing at around 60,000 square meters.
