 Jinan, China is known as the 'Spring City' because of the large number of springs in the city. There are 72 springs in the city, but one of them on the must see list is Boatu Spring.  With clear and crystal spring pools and magnificent pavilions, the Baotu Spring Park looks almost like a fairyland.

   If you enjoy hiking or other outdoor and nature sports, you could take a trip to Mount Tai.  Mount Tai is the first mountain of the Five Mountains.  If you make it around April to November, it’s the best time for touring and when the season’s colors are most beautiful.  However, if you want to see one of the most beautiful sunrises, the best time to go is around autumn.  Check with your hotel to see if they offer a tour to this most majestic mountain.

Jinan has a lot of colonial architecture that is worth checking out to learn about the history.  You may find yourself in awe over the artwork of ancient times.  Tiankuanh Hall is one of the recommended places to go.

When you get hungry, one of the best restaurants to eat at is Restaurant below Carrefour.     The service is also outstanding, and you will want to return again and again. You can also stop by Jenny's Café.  A small, quaint restaurant, it is hidden behind a shade that shields you from the scorching heat so you can take a break and relax.  Offering a great variety of ethnic food at a reasonable price, you will be able to take in the local flavor and relax as well.
