Dongguan Nightlife, China

Dongguan, China has quite the impressive nightlife.  No matter what your tastes are, you can find restaurants, bars, clubs, and discos to appeal to everyone.  There are many karaoke clubs as well.  Don’t be surprised though, if you must sing!

There is an English bar called One for the Road.  They have 7 draft beers, with two from Ireland and England.  The food is exceptional, offering English fare.  One for the Road is a favorite among expats, and is also known for their selection of major sporting events on the television.

If you are looking for an American bar, try the American Bar!  This is a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a drink before moving on to a club or disco for the evening.  The live music and relaxed dress also make it a common attraction for tourists.

Afterwards, stroll along the city streets.  The bonsai trees, cooler weather, street vendors, and colorful locals all add to the culture of this city.  Think about trying Mu Zu, or foot reflexology.  These are very relaxing and are usually only $5 US for almost an hour.  You can find some really great Mu Zu parlors in the Nancheng District, close to the Silverland Hotel.

If shopping is your favorite pastime, you are definitely in the right place.  Houjie has many stretches of streets with boutiques and shops.  There are also many delicious restaurants and street vendors.  Try dinner and then shopping at Addidas or Nike.  Followed up by a foot massage, you may just have the perfect night.

Dongguan is a great city to explore and learn about their culture and history.  There are great museums and monuments, restaurants, and just about any type of bar you can imagine.  This city is well known throughout the world for some of its pubs and clubs.  No doubt, you’ll have a great time in this city.
