Nightlife in Changzhou is a bit more laid-back and quiet. Tourists can head to the finest restaurants to have a taste of the authentic Chinese dishes.  You can also visit theatres which show the region and country’s culture.  You may spend the night relaxing on the best tea houses in the city as well.

While guests are enjoying their meal and sipping their favorite cup of tea, they are entertained by a live band playing classical music.

Other Nightlife Options

Going to a hotel or an opera house could be a good alternative to spend the night.  Hotels in Changzhou have their own restaurants to be proud of.  You could also watch the culture of the city via the drama house.

Tianmu Lake Hotel.  This place serves authentic local dishes termed as Huaiyang Cuisine.  The best-seller is none other than the Tianmu Lake Fish Head Soup which is renowned as one of the region’s best food.

Changzhou Grand Drama House.  This place opened in 1928.  For people who want to catch a glimpse of Chinese culture, the Grand Drama House is one of the best places to visit.  The theatre can accommodate 900 people and it has a moon-shaped stage.  The main performances focus on Peking Opera.

Changzhou may not be rich with bars and clubs that will make you groove your feet.  However, to at least appease travelers, the city has other things to offer.  Try them as you may not have experienced them in your own homes.
