Canton is the English name for the city of Guangzhou which is part of People’s Republic of China. The famous Fair of Canton which is officially known as the Import and Export Fair of China is held every year in this city of Canton itself. This attracts huge number of businessmen from around the city. It started in the year of 1957 and by now it has become a tradition for the city of Canton. The growth of industries in the city of Canton led to division of sections for different kind of industrial zones. These zones are Shantou Free Trade Zone of Canton, Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone of Canton, and the Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone of Canton.

With the growth of economy for the city of Canton the growth of tourism has also been observed and this has made the city of Canton an important tourist hot spot in China. Every kind of transport is available in this city to cope with the growing population. Although you will have to face traffic jams every now and then but that isn’t that big problem.
