Santiago is a beautiful city of Chile. It is located in the central valley of the country known as Santiago Basin. Santiago Basin is a large bowl-shaped valley surrounded by the mountains.
Due to the continued economic growth for almost two decades it has become the most modern and largest metropolitan area in the South America.

Estadio Monumental David Arellano is a big football stadium in this city having capacity to accommodation more than 65,000 people. The stadium is being used by the most famous football teams of the city. Estadio Víctor JaraIt is a famous stadium in Santiago. It was renamed as a memorial of a singer Víctor Jara. It is a multi-sports complex located in the western part of Santiago. It is used for basketball, volleyball, boxing, table tennis and indoor soccer.
Centro Cultural Palacio de La Moneda is a biggest cultural and recreational place in Santiago.
