Located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario, Toronto is by far the most populous and diverse city in Canada. The incredible mix of ethnicities makes Toronto one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world and is a possible explanation why Toronto is considered the entertainment capital of Canada. Many of Toronto’s top restaurants are grouped around downtown or districts like Entertainment District, Richmond Hill, College Street in Little Italy or Greektown. The comedy club category is well-represented in Toronto: Yuk Yuk’s, The Comedy Bar, Absolute Comedy Club, The Second City.

For those who prefer the mesmerizing atmosphere of a nightclub, here are Toronto’s hottest: Club XS, Government, Frequency, Embassy, This is London, Nava. If you are visiting neighboring cities like Kitchene or Brantford, Toronto nightlife is definitely worth the effort of driving the 50 mile distance.
