Go to Arieseni on weekdays, Romania
Reviews > Europe > Romania > Arieseni > Go to Arieseni on weekdays
Last winter we came here once in a Thursday... that was really fun :) When we arrived in the morning we were four and there was also a group of children with their instructor on the ski trail, and no one else! We could ski as we wanted, sit in the middle of the trail, and no one disturbed us. It's true that the longer trail which is for advanced skiers was not arranged, but the smaller trail was enough for us. Later on some other skiers appeared, but that wasn't a problem at all.
So if you'd like to learn to ski or if you just want to avoid the crowd, I advise you to visit Arieseni on a weekday.

The road is usually clean but with a lot of curves and it is better if you come equipped with chains. You can park near the slope but on Saturdays and Sundays it gets pretty crowded so it is better if you leave your car at the lodge.... Read more »
