by New York is not exactly the place for outdoors activities, but the many parks certainly offer a little breeze of fresh air at time.
Besides the many historical sites, you can visit museums, galleries, theater, and many of the fantastic restaurants that are all scattered around town. You'll find authentic dishes from China, Russia, Italy, Japan... well every country really.
I rate New York really high, if it wasn't for the little outdoors activities, This city would receive somewhere between 90% and 95%.

Nightlife in New York provides so much to see. Apollo Club, Carnegie Hall, Isaac Stern Auditorium, German beer garden, Beatrice Inn, The Box, Ye Waverly Inn, Town House, The lobby of The Bowery Hotel, Hotel del Mano, Annex, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola and MO Bar are some of the notable nightlife spots in New York. Any night is fine to hang out with friends.
