by You only reach the place by ferries, departing from the nearby city of Sorrent on the mainland. If you have got time, take yourself a hotel and look at the nice small town and enjoy the nature of the island. It is very beautiful and relaxing. The locals are nice and always seem to be happy.

Among one of the most appreciated summer activity is biking. There are spectacular trails that take you to amazing peaks from where the view is fabulous. Along the way you can stop at typical mountain refuges and have a bite of the local specialties. One of the trails that can be climbed on foot take you to Pecol’s Belvedere from where you can see Gruppo Sella, Sassolungo, Catinaccio and the queen of the Dolomites, Marmolada.
