Bhutan

Bhutan is a small country and often overlooked by travelers who go to Asia, but 2011 might just great for the country’s tourism. Bhutan seems so peaceful and harmonious that many people call it the last Shangri-La.

Antarctica is one of those travel destinations that not everybody will find attractive, but truth is that Antarctica is becoming more and more popular with eccentric travelers. What you need to get to the coldest and driest part of the world is a lot of motivation and lots of money too. There are several destinations that you can visit, most of them are stations and bases: Paradise Bay, Neko Harbour, Hannah Point, Half Moon Island, etc.

@Stefan: Yes, you need a visa to travel into Bhutan.
Btw. that’s Krak des Chevaliers on the picture, and old castle from the 11th century, and yes, you’re right, it’s a castle used in the Crusades.
