  • Top 10 honeymoon destinations

Winter is not exactly the most traditional season for weddings, but even if you and your significant other couldn’t wait until summer to tie the knot, you deserve a honeymoon that you’ll remember when you’re old. Honeymoons are supposed to be memorable, but there is no clear-cut profile of the perfect holiday destination. So, for variety’s sake, here are our choices for a top 10 honeymoon destinations list.

    1. Aruba

Aruba is as exotic a destination as you can find, and its advantage is that you will enjoy yourselves regardless whether you’re the type to laze in the sun or go hiking and snorkeling.

    2. Thailand

Thailand is a very poplar destination for honeymoons, not only because of the pristine beaches and great parties, but also due to the fascinating culture, history, people, and last but not least, cuisine.

    3. Mauritius

Couples who love nature will have a hard time leaving this place of exquisite natural beauty. The beaches of Mauritius are breath-taking, and so are the mountain, forests and the wildlife. And in addition to the parks, the nightlife is not bad either.

    4. France

Taking a tour of France as your honeymoon can be both romantic and exciting. Visit Paris and spend some time in the city of love, head to Provence for a countryside escape, or head to the Pyrenees for a bit of adventure.

    5. Tofino, Canada

Tofino is one of the most unspoiled places in Canada, and on top of that, it is pretty secluded too, therefore perfect for a honeymoon getaway. Take long walks in the Pacific Rim National Park, kayak, surf and watch whales, and then cuddle up in front of a fireplace.

    6. Maldives

The almost 1200 islands of the Maldives are the perfect setting for a honeymoon escape, and you’ll surely find a place where you can hide away from crowds for a few weeks together with your significant other.

    7. Antigua

Antigua is a tropical destination, so bring your sunscreen and enjoy the sandy beaches, and try your hand at snorkeling or scuba diving.

    8. Fiji

The charm of Fiji is that it can offer you all the excitements of a tropical destination, but without the crowds. Between the more than 300 islands, you can find enough secluded resorts where you can spend your honeymoon.

    9. St. Lucia

St. Lucia has a little bit of France and a little bit of Britain, lots of beaches and enough unique attractions to keep you occupied for weeks: a drive-in volcano, Sulphur Springs the Botanical Gardens, a world heritage site, the rain forests, and Pigeon Island National Park.

    10. Jamaica

If nightlife is what you like the best in a tourist destination, Jamaica won’t disappoint you. However, nature lovers will also love the lush forests where you can explore caves, see the wildlife or do some adventure sports, like rafting.
