Domplatz. Sanctified in 1279 and functioned as a cathedral from 1469 to 1785, this church has Late Romanesque front and nave, and Gothic transepts and choir. Twelve statues of the Apostles (life size) were added on its halls in the 15th century. Today, the church is known as Liebfrauenkirche (parish church of the Assumption) since the transfer of the see to St. Pölten in 1784. Military Academy.
