In Roubaix there is a “must see” sight called La Piscine (The swimming pool). It is in fact a museum (Museum of Art and Industry) opened after intense renovations in 2001. The museum is build on top of a swimming pool constructed between 1927 and 1932 but closed in 1985. Inside the museum there are a lot of collections of paintings, sculpture, and applied arts.
