Colosseum: While most guides will tell you to visit the Colosseum, I would recommend a nice stroll around it. The impressive part is the outside. If you really want to go inside, you should go early in the morning so you don't have to wait much in line. Otherwise, enjoy the site and keep walking towards the Forum Romanum which offers a nice insight of ancient Roman life.
