We were lucky to visit the Museum of Natural Sciences on the first Friday of the month because it stayed open until 9pm so even if we arrived in the afternoon we didn't have to run to finish everything we wanted to see until closing at 5pm. And there are many things to look at in the museum, you just have to take the time.

There is no admission fee, so that's a plus to visit it, though they accept donations and some the special exhibits may charge you the entrance but all in all it is a wonderful and amazing facility worth your time.

Address:
11 W Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27601, USA

Price:
Free (donations accepted). Special exhibits are charged.

Opening Hours:
Mon-Sat: 9am-5pm
Sun: 12pm-5pm
