There are plenty of steakhouses and grills in Orlando, but a nice, unpretentious vegetarian place is rather hard to find. Ethos does not offer a very wide array of dining choices, but the food is good and tastes like a hearty homecooked meal.

The restaurant is actually vegan, but there are plenty of dishes that wouldn't be a problem for vegetarians either. The pancakes on the brunch menu are especially nice, and as far as sweets go, you can bring your non-vegan friends along as well, because they are really tasty. Plus, most of the dishes are made of organic ingredients.

Address:
1235 N Orange Ave #101, Orlando, FL 32804, USA

Price:
Sandwiches for under $10, main dishes around $10, pancakes and French toast $8.95

Orlando History

As air conditioning was invented in Orlando, life here became a picnic for all the people in this sunshine state. Sandy soil, summer heat as well as erratic torrential rainfall, however, made living tough for people but provided favorable conditions for the growth of citrus crops. Tangerines, limes, grapefruit as well as orange all thrived in Orlando. By 1870, the citrus industry of this terrain [...]
