This burial ground is located in the south of Marrakesh and it is a beautiful example of the Arabic art and architecture.

It is a burial place for at least since the 1550s and was developed under Ahmed el Mansour sultan. There are two big mausoleums with more than 60 tombs in them and there are more than 100 more tombs in the gardens inside.

Mansour's tob is in the central chamber surrounded by his family members and successors. Outside there are the tombs of the Saadian princes and those of the members of the royal household.

The buildings are beautifully decorated with Arabic tiles, colorful and complex geometric patterns, carved columns and inscriptions from the Qur'an.
