One of the most famous and popular places to visit in LA is obviously the Hollywood Sign. Although, this is really not that spectacular, its something you have seen many times and everybody connects something with it. Surprisingly, there is no sightseeing platform or anything like that, you simple get as close as you can and watch it from further away.

You may or may not go for the hike (about 5Miles), I usually just drive as close as I can and then take some photos)

Address:
Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA 90027, USA

Price:
Free

Opening Hours:
24/7

How to get there:
Simply drive up on the 101 Freeway (North), then take off on Franklin and make a right. You'll be really close to the sign already. Take a left on Beachwood and you'll be heading straight towards the sign, a great spot for your pics.

Another nice thing while driving up to the sign is the fact that you'll have a great view over the city. Keep in mind that this area offers some of the best views over LA and it's worth it to go here day or nightReply
