The Tower of London is one of the most interesting and the oldest buildings in London. You can get there with the tube, you just have to get off t the Tower Bridge station. You can take a walk around the Tower for free. You can also go into the Tower. The prices of the Tickets are about 10-20 pounds depending on child, student or adult tickets. When you get into the Tower you will see a lot of man in costumes. Don't be shy, go to them and ask them to take a picture with you. You can take a walk in the Tower Garden and some parts of The Tower are open so you van go inside too. Inside the Tower there is an exhibiton of Henry the VIII's clothes, armor and weapons. This year Henry the VIII is the main attraction of the Tower so you will see loads of stuff about him. The exhibitons also have fun games for kids and adults too. There is a game where you can try your archery skills, one where you can fight like a knight and other fun stuff too. If you are not into knights and Henry the VIII you can also go and take a look at the crown jewellry. However there is always a long line waiting to go in and there is an additional fee of 1 pound. The Tower also has a gift shop where you can buy loads of ridiculously expensive stuff. There are some nice things like books, tea or teddy bears, but you can also find Henry the VIII knickers too.

London History

Medieval London was so brutal because of the Black Plague or the Black Death.  It appeared in 1348, and repeated its outbreak in 1665.  Not all of London’s mishaps lead futile.  The Great Fire of 1666 was the start of London’s healing and reconstruction.  From 1837-1901, Queen Victoria reigned.  For some, it was a city of wealth yet at the same time a city of colossal poverty because of [...]
