No one would say that this shabby, old building is actually a small palace and hides a beautiful, rich interior with decorations, and furniture showing the luxury of the aristocratic life in the past centuries. When we went to the San Antao Street we were 'overwhelmed' by the bustling life of it. Busy restaurants and terraces, shops and cafeterias full of people. It was a relief to get inside the Alentejo 'house' and be surprised by the richness and elegance of the place. It is definitely a place to visit and spend a little time there. There is also a restaurant and a bar inside, and also a small shop selling delicacies.
