I don't know why so many visitors to Hawaii miss out on seeing the rainforest.

Just ten minutes from Waikiki you can find a great trail that leads to a gorgeous waterfall. Manoa Falls trail is free, well maintained, and gorgeous.

Hawaii is more than just the beach.

Address:
Manoa Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815

How to get there:
Leave Waikiki and head to the University of Hawaii. Continue up the road past the school for about two miles. The trailhead will be right in front of you. If you park in the neighborhood below, parking is free.

I have been there as well. The trail is really nice and leads you through a jungle and a bamboo forest. I really enjoyed Manoa Falls and couldn't remember what it was called. Thanks a lot for reminding me...Reply
