Going down the the long lane alongside the river in Fort Lauderdale full of old, and renovated shops, bars and restaurants gives you a glimpse into historical Florida. Not to mention the view from the walk is beautifully breathtaking, perfect for some city-pictures. What is great about the walk is that it is located downtown being close to the Museum of Discovery and Science and the Historical Society Museum, not to mention it is a few minutes walk from the Atlantic Ocean. The best location in town! :)

Have a bite in one of the restaurants as you stroll down the Riverwalk or buy some souvenirs for family or friends in some of the various shopping places found there.
